This exciting trek in the Everest region gives you the opportunity to witness Mt. Everest from the ground while taking in some of the most breathtaking scenery in the Himalayas. Naturally, the trail to Everest base camp has become one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. This is a trip of a lifetime. The thrill of being surrounded by the world's highest peaks will leave a lasting impression.
After a full day touring Kathmandu, we fly into the tiny airstrip of Lukla. We spend several days acclimatizing and trekking through the homelands of the Sherpa people. We visit their villages and Buddhist monasteries. Views of Everest and neighboring Ama Dablam change as we trek deeper into the Himalayas. On the way, we stroll through Namche Bazaar and relax in the bustling market town in the heart of Sherpa country. As we gain altitude, the magnificent mountain scenery grows ahead of us. Finally we reach Everest Base Camp at 17,500 feet.

Day 3 Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding (2,652m)
Day 4 Trek to Namche (3,450m)
Day 5 Rest day in Namche and acclimatization hike
Day 6 Trek to Tengboche (3,867m)
Day 7 Trek to Pheriche (4,252m)
Day 8 Rest day in Pheriche and acclimatization hike
Day 9 Trek to Lobuche (4,930m)
Day 10 Trek to Gorak Shep (5,184m) hike Kalapathar (18,300ft) and back to Gorak Shep
